Meridian Medicare Ltd.
Meridian Medicare Limited is set up in serene and pristine surroundings of Shivalik foothills at Solan in Himachal Pradesh. It has been built and equipped as per GMP norms laid down in schedule M (Revised) of the drugs & Cosmetic Act, 1940. Meridian Medicare Ltd. was incorporated in 1997 with a mission to "Service the society by Marketing and Manufacturing Quality Medicines". Initially the company marketed the products of its sister concern Meridian Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. And in the year 2000 started manufacturing its own products under loan license arrangements. In year 2002, after establishing a market base, the company has set up its own SSI unit at Shamti, Solan. Technical and management professionals, having more than 22 years of experience in Marketing and Manufacturing pharmaceutical formulations manage the company. The company has an in-house modern and well-equipped testing laboratory. Qualified staff and technicians operate the laboratory.
The Quality Management System in our QUALITY ASSURANCE REFERENCE MANUAL document the established quality standards as per WHO Good Manufacturing Practices and as implemented and maintained by Meridian to meet the needs of customers and achieve the World class Quality in medicines. The scope of maintaining QMS is to continuously improve the processes and assure the conformity to WHO GMP. The manual also conforms to the requirements of international standards ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Systems requirements.
In short span of 5 years "Meridian" has 6 sister manufacturing concerns which produce Tablets, Capsules, Liquids, Powders, Injetables, Eye and Ear drops, Ointments and Nutraceuticals. Meridian is also proud of establishing the first of its kind commercial test house in H.P. with ultra modern testing facilities.
Meridian has more than 250 products and with more than 300 Business Associates, Distributors and Stockists. It has spread its network all over India. Our range includes Antacids, Antiinflammatory, Enzymes, Antirheumatic, Antibiotics, Anti-bacterial combination, Anti fungal, Vitamins and Minerals and Anti-histamins among other products. The packing and designs of the products are very sophisticated and of highest standards. With our products on ORG list, we have made a niche in pharmaceutical market of India. Our market has grown exponentially.
